80,000 SqFt Office Building – Monrovia, CA

HVAC vendor informed the building’s new owner that all four of its rooftop units needed to be replaced. Cost: $225,000 per unit, plus another $25,000 for electrical upgrades. Total Cost: $925,000.

However, inteliGlas’ analytics showed that two of the units were working properly. This immediately saved the owners $475,000 in equipment and electrical upgrades.

The other two units would eventually need to be replaced, but with careful programming inteliGlas kept them working for another five (5) years. Postponing the $450,000 repair enabled the owners to mitigate the impact of this unplanned expense on their new investment, plus upgrading the last two units with far more efficient units in May 2024.
